Abby Cannon is a Senior Associate at Iris Group with 18 years' experience in global health and gender equity. She is a specialist in culturally responsive research, evaluation, and technical assistance, with deep expertise in gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, and the care economy.

Abby brings a strong track record in designing and implementing evaluation plans, collating learning, strengthening data use for decision-making, and translating findings into actionable insights. She excels in developing measurement tools, managing grants, and building collaborative relationships with donors, NGOs, and local communities.

Most recently, Abby served as Gender Advisor for the USAID-funded Building Evidence for Decision-Making initiative. She also previously led a cluster randomized control trial on adolescent health and education in Tanzania.
