GESI Training Curriculum & TOT for Rwanda Private Sector Driven Agriculture Growth Project (PSDAG)
USAID
2016 - 2017

Iris Group worked with Rwanda’s Private Sector Driven Agricultural Growth (PSDAG) project to design and test a groundbreaking Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) curriculum to improve the inclusion of women, youth and people with disabilities among the PSDAG project’s private sector partners. Based on Iris Group’s assessment of needs, capacity gaps, and opportunities among private sector partners, the curriculum helps stakeholders in agricultural businesses understand the financial and social benefits that can result from including women, youth and people with disabilities as potential employees, business leaders, and partners. The curriculum includes a facilitator guide, facilitator annexes, case studies, and participant packet, along with three slide presentations. Iris Group helped PSDAG select local consultants and oriented them on the curriculum.
