Aditi Krishna, PhD, MS, is a Senior Associate at Iris Group. She is a social epidemiologist with expertise in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), maternal and child health, nutrition, child development, family planning, and reproductive and sexual health. At Iris Group, Aditi provides key technical services on WASH through two USAID-funded projects: (a) a WASH and integrated water resource management project in Tanzania, and (b) a global project to learning and partnerships to improve WASH programming by identifying, sharing and guiding the use of best practices for the delivery of WASH services and sustained behavior. Aditi is also involved in an evidence review on gender transformative interventions to improve adolescent health and well-being and more generally provides research support to Iris Group staff. Her research skills were acquired through rigorous training and years of experience in applied research.

Aditi conducted primary research on barriers to women's education and adolescent reproductive and sexual health services in India and Nepal. In Bangalore, her work garnered support for a municipal domestic violence policy and promoted men's engagement in family planning and reproductive health in Ethiopia. Aditi also has significant experience working with large datasets with strong quantitative skills in epidemiology, biostatistics and epidemiology.
Aditi received her Master's of Science in Public Health from the Health Policy and Management department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her doctoral degree from the Social and Behavioral Sciences department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Aditi is a native Hindi speaker with greater proficiency in English acquired through years of living in North America. She is also fluent in German.
