Iris Group provided hands-on training to familiarize participants with the Interagency Gender Working Group (IGWG) core training materials and how to best use them, new guidance on conducting gender assessments, and key resources and references for providing gender technical assistance and training to country teams. The one-day workshop included a practicum session where participants designed a briefing session to respond to a hypothetical U.S. Government (USG) country team request during a country visit. The goal of the workshop was to build capacity to address USG gender-related requirements in PEPFAR country programs.
